BOVA History
BOVA UN - the Baltic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network is a connecting network of universities offering the higher education for
Bsc, Msc, Phd in the field of: agriculture, forestry, veterinary and other related sciences.
BOVA University Network was established in 1996 by four Higher Education Institutions with the main idea to build up and strengthen academic collaboration, mobility and exchange of experience among BOVA member universities providing higher education and research in the fields of life sciences.
BOVA members are:
Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU)
Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LLU)
Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy (VDU AA)
Lithuanian University of Health Sciences - Veterinary Academy (LSMU-VA)
Establishment of BOVA very much based on the initiation of the cooperation between NOVA and Baltic Agricultural universities and reaches mid 1990s.
